Love... "The Guy Thing"

Today, I came across a little sheet with notes from an old Boys' Brigade devo on love, which I thought I'd share.

Proverbs 4:23.... "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life"

"Heart" attributes that drive good lovers !!

1. THANKFULNESS :: "I'm thankful for what God has given me."

2. RESPECT :: "What God has given me is profoundly valuable."

3. COMPASSION :: "What God has given me is profoundly fragile."

4. RESPONSIBILITY :: "I was born to work hard."

5. PURITY :: "If God doesn't give it, I don't want it."

6. SACRIFICE :: "I'm willing to give up what is mine."

7. TREASURE :: "There will be only room for one in my heart."

8. AFFECTION :: "I will roll out the red carpet."
